Inside the app, pick the Xtream Codes option rather than M3U URL. Xtream Codes gives you the programme guide and channels grouped into categories.
Type the URL with its port, the username and the password exactly as sent. Type them by hand rather than pasting, copied text often carries an invisible space that triggers a credentials error.
The first load takes ten to sixty seconds depending on channel count. Once finished you have the full list with EPG, and can hide the country groups you do not want.
The general steps are identical everywhere, only the way you install the app changes.
Turn on "Apps from Unknown Sources" in the device settings, install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore, and use it to sideload TiviMate or IPTV Smarters. Then enter your credentials. This is the most common device among our UK customers and the least troublesome.
Search for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters directly in Google Play and install. If your TV cannot find them, check with Google TV support that your model supports installing external apps.
On Tizen and webOS we normally register your TV's MAC address and send access already linked, with nothing to install. Alternatively use the Smart IPTV or SS IPTV app if you prefer to manage it yourself.
Install Smarters Player Lite from the App Store and choose Xtream Codes login. Apple TV works the same way; if this is your first setup, Apple's own Apple TV setup guide covers installing apps on the device.
These boxes do not use a username and password, they use a portal URL tied to the device MAC address. Send us your MAC on WhatsApp and we return the URL to enter in the portal settings.
Use VLC with the M3U URL, or better, MyIPTV Player on Windows if you want a programme guide. On Mac, IPTV Smarters has a desktop build with the same interface as the TV version.
Rule out Wi-Fi first. Most buffering reports we receive in the UK come from a weak wireless link between router and TV rather than from the server or the broadband line. Connect the device by Ethernet if you can; if not, move to the 5 GHz band and reduce the distance to the router.
If it still buffers on a cable, check your real throughput with a speed test such as Speedtest. Below a stable 15 Mbps you will see stutter in Full HD, and 4K wants 25 Mbps or more. If you have ample speed and one specific channel misbehaves, message us, that usually points to a single server and we can move you in minutes.
Technically yes, provided you have as many simultaneous connections as screens that will play at once. Sharing a single connection across two homes works until two people switch on at the same time, at which point one gets dropped. For that scenario, look at the 2 and 3 connection plans.
Three to five minutes on most devices. Installing the player app takes the longest; entering credentials is about a minute, and the channel list with EPG loads itself afterwards.
TiviMate is the best choice on Firestick and Android TV thanks to its guide interface and favourites handling. IPTV Smarters works nearly everywhere and is the simplest. On iPhone and Apple TV use Smarters Player Lite, and on Samsung or LG Smart TVs we normally register the TV MAC address instead.
Almost always Wi-Fi rather than the line. If the TV sits far from the router, or on a congested 2.4 GHz band, the speed actually reaching it is a fraction of what you pay for. An Ethernet cable or switching to the 5 GHz band fixes the large majority of buffering complaints.
Yes, on as many as you like. Your plan limits simultaneous streams, not installations, with one connection you can have the credentials on the TV, phone and tablet, but only one plays at a time.
