How to set up IPTV on a Firestick step by step

Setting up IPTV on a Firestick takes about five minutes and needs no computer and no technical knowledge. There is exactly one step that catches people out, enabling installation of apps from outside the Amazon store, and everything after it is just following instructions.

Why is the Firestick the most recommended device?

What do you need before starting?

What are the exact steps?

1. Enable apps from unknown sources. On the Firestick go to Settings, My Fire TV, Developer Options, and turn on "Install unknown apps". Without this you cannot install players that are not in the Amazon store.
2. Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore. Search for Downloader in the Fire TV store and install it. It is a free, official app whose only job is fetching installer files from a URL.
3. Download your IPTV player. Open Downloader and enter the address for the TiviMate or IPTV Smarters installer. We send this to you on WhatsApp alongside your credentials so you do not have to hunt for it.
4. Enter your Xtream Codes credentials. Open the player, choose the Xtream Codes login option, and enter the server URL with its port, your username and your password, typed by hand rather than pasted.
